Delphine Amer, M.Sc. RP
Registered Psychotherapist Virtual OnlyI am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and I bring a warm, grounded, and deeply relational presence to my work. My approach is rooted in unconditional positive regard, compassion, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. Guided by a Rogerian, client‑centred philosophy, I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
I hold a graduate degree in mental health with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health, and I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. My clinical training includes CBT, DBT, Solution‑Focused Therapy, EMDR, trauma‑informed approaches, and Gottman Method couples therapy. These modalities allow me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals — whether we are addressing long‑standing patterns, processing trauma, or building new skills for everyday life.
My practice is grounded in an appreciation for the complexity of human nature and the many layers of human experience. I understand that people don’t fit into neat categories, and neither do their struggles. Because of this, I take an individualized, flexible approach, meeting clients exactly where they are and adapting our work as their needs evolve.
I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including:
• Anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, specific fears and phobias)
• Depression and mood‑related challenges
• Anger and emotional regulation
• Adjustment issues and life transitions
• Grief and loss
• Relationship and communication difficulties
• Parenting stress and family dynamics
• Trauma and PTSD
Outside of my clinical work, I’m someone who finds grounding and joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life. I love camping, spending time in nature, reading, travelling, and discovering good food wherever I go. Most of all, I cherish time with my family and friends, who keep me connected, balanced, and inspired. These experiences continually remind me of the importance of presence, curiosity, and connection — values that shape the way I show up in the therapy room.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, to help clients better understand patterns in their emotions, relationships, and self-perception while also developing practical tools to navigate day-to-day challenges. Dr. Abolfazl Mohammadi, PhD., C. Psych. Clinical Psychologist
I’m a registered Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), and I feel genuinely grateful to do this work. Supporting people in understanding themselves, navigating challenges, and creating meaningful change is not just my profession—it’s something I deeply value.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based care. I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and newer generations of CBT, to help individuals better understand and respond to their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Therapy with me is not distant or overly clinical—it’s a supportive, respectful space where we work together to build insight, develop skills, and create meaningful change.
I believe that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are shaped by a complex interaction of past experiences, social, and current life demands. Sometimes, patterns that once helped us cope can begin to limit us. In therapy, we work together to identify these patterns, understand their function, and gradually shift them in a way that aligns with your goals and values.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer comprehensive psychological assessment services, including diagnostic clarification and adult ADHD assessments, to support treatment planning and a deeper understanding of your needs.
I offer both in-person and virtual services in English, Farsi, and Azari, and I value working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling and learning new languages, which continues to shape my appreciation for different perspectives and ways of understanding the world.

David Moyes MSW., RSW. (Registered Social Worker)
About David I trained as a psychotherapist at Hunter College in New York. I was licensed to practice in 2007. I was certified to practice psychotherapy in Ontario by the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSWSSW) in 2009. ADULTS
I currently see adults in Individual Therapy with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, relationships, education, career planning and men’s mental health.
I typically work together with a person over the first few sessions to come up with a plan to tackle the agreed- upon problem. Once a plan is in place, I help individuals find their way through a process mostly influenced by CBT, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness (ACT and DBT) There are also some who prefer a non-structured approach and enjoy the process of support and feedback concerning daily life and relationships.
TEENAGERS and CHILDREN
I’ve worked with kids in various roles since I was 20 years old, and as a psychotherapist since 2007. As a therapist in the Outpatient Children’s Mental Health Program at Niagara Health from 2009 until 2021 I provided evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, Family Therapy, Mindfulness) to kids (6-18) and their families for any and all diagnosis including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, PTSD, Bullying, Cognitive and Educational Planning.
Specialties
After completing my Master’s Degree in Social Work, I set out to receive advanced training in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy. I was fortunate to receive the guidance of Dr. Janet Klosko, a founding member of the Cognitive Therapy Association, former lead therapist at the CBT and Schema Therapy Institute of NYC, and a published expert in the field of CBT. In addition to obtaining a high level of skill with CBT and Schema Therapy, I went on to study Mindfulness-Based Therapies and have a high level of skill utilizing Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my practice.

Nahal Nahal Registered Psychotherapist
I work with adults, seniors and youth dealing with different types of anxiety, depression, stress, obsessive compulsive behaviours, life transitions, behavioural problems, relationship issues, burnout, problematic family dynamics, and personality concerns.
Some of the people I work with may overtly seem like they have it all figured out but they’re quietly unraveling on the inside. Others know exactly what they should be doing and still can’t make themselves do it. Some feel everything too much. Some feel nothing at all and aren’t sure when that started. If any of that sounds familiar, you’re probably in the right place. Maybe you’re a perfectionist who procrastinates. Maybe you overthink every interaction after it happens. Maybe you’ve been holding it together for so long that you forgot you were allowed to put it down.
Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate and warm. We’ll look at how your past and present experiences shaped the way you move through the world, not to assign blame, but to understand the logic behind the patterns and develop insight. Once you see why you do what you do, it gets a lot easier to do something different.
I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. I have a few different toolkits, and we figure out together which ones actually work for you. I practice from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive lens. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical), and before moving into practice at CBT Associates, I worked as a psychotherapist with organizations like Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF in Kashmir, as well as within an inpatient psychiatric unit at Youthdale Treatment Centres in Toronto.
I encourage looking at struggles within the broader context of the systems, relationships, and environments we live in. A lot of pain becomes internalized as personal failure when it is also rooted in disconnection, isolation, family patterns, or the structures of society. Part of healing, in my view, is finding ways back to community, belonging, and relationships where people can exist in more authentic ways.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll probably find me walking through neighbourhoods at sunset with a podcast or an audiobook in my ears, signing up for hobby classes I may or may not be good at, or watching a movie and completely failing to not psychoanalyze every character’s attachment style.

Patricia Ngo RSW (Registered Social Worker)
Hey! I’m Patricia or you can just call me Pat. I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Having taken a non-traditional and somewhat backwards route to get here, more than a decade of working in the mental health and addictions sector and then receiving a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis- I think I have finally nailed down my approach. I provide virtual individual therapy to adults and hold a specialization in addictions (substance use) and have extensive experience working with concurrent disorders.
I aim to create a safe and nonjudgemental environment in which we can focus on utilizing your inherent strengths. Having navigated my own life experiences, I believe in taking a relational and empathetic approach to care so we can collaborate and explore your internal world to build insight, awareness and achieve growth through action. I value showing up authentically and while therapy can be heavy, uncomfortable or even scary, I’ll sit through that with you and even throw in the occasional joke or two.
My approach is eclectic to ensure my clients’ unique individual needs are addressed. Some of the evidenced based modalities I will draw from are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.
Outside of work, I try not to take things too seriously- what is life without play? I love to work out and believe movement is medicine. You’ll find me chasing adrenaline, hyper fixating on my latest obsession, planning a vacation, checking out the newest restaurants or simply potato-ing on my couch.

Thiviyan Sithganesan
Hey! I’m Thiviyan, a down-to-earth and compassionate therapist who genuinely cares about helping people feel heard, understood, and supported. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating or even uncomfortable at first, so I work hard to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, no pressure, no judgment.
My approach is very practical and skills-based. I want you to leave sessions not just feeling better, but with something real you can actually use in your day-to-day life. I tend to bring in relatable examples, creative exercises, and sometimes a bit of humour or quirky insight to help make things feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
At the end of the day, I meet you where you’re at. Whether you’re dealing with stress, intense emotions, relationship challenges, or just trying to figure things out, we’ll work through it together with curiosity, patience, and care.
Outside of therapy, I’m a proud தமிழ் (Tamil) Canadian and a children’s book author. I’m also someone who loves basketball, discovering new board games, and spending time with friends.

My background spans a wide range of settings: schools, hospitals, day treatment and residential programs, community mental health centres, and an academic family health team. I completed my predoctoral training at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), working with children navigating mood, anxiety, and behavioural difficulties, as well as young adults managing addiction and concurrent disorders. That breadth of experience shaped how I work: I don’t see people through a single lens, and I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults. Whether I’m supporting a child with anxiety who’s struggling to get through the school day, a teenager dealing with OCD or self-harm, or an adult working through trauma, burnout, or relationship patterns that keep repeating. I bring the same thing to every session: genuine curiosity, clinical rigour, and respect for how hard this work is.
My approach is empathic and client-centred, which means we start where you are. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), and I tailor the approach to what will actually work for you. I’m also a researcher at heart: I’ve studied how families navigate Ontario’s mental health system and the effects of DBT skills training in community and university settings, and I care deeply about bringing that evidence into real, everyday practice.
I hold a particular interest in anxiety in all its forms, including social, health, performance, and panic, as well as OCD, trauma, ADHD, and the quiet but persistent weight of perfectionism and low self-esteem. I’m committed to providing an inclusive, affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and BIPOC communities, and I’m also registered to provide services to residents of Nunavut and the Yukon.
My goal is simple: to make sure every person I work with feels connected to the most appropriate, accessible, and effective care available, and to walk with them through the process of getting there.
