Ms. Maksuda Akter completed her M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before moving to Canada, she worked in a range of settings including a community mental health, hospital settings, and private practice settings as a Clinical Psychologist.

Ms. Akter is a registered Psychological Associate whose areas of practice include clinical psychology with adults. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work (MSW, BSW), and another graduate degree in Public Administration, Policy and Law (MPAL) all from the York University in Toronto. Dr. Juliana Tobon received her PhD from the University of Western Ontario and completed her predoctoral training at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Child, Youth, and Family Program, working with children with mood, anxiety and behavioural difficulties, and with young adults with addiction and concurrent disorders. She has worked in schools, hospitals, day treatment and residential programs, and community children’s mental health centres.

Dr. Tobon’s research has examined how parents experience care in Ontario’s mental health system, and she has received funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Her recent research has examined the effects of Dialectical Behaviour Skills training for young adults in a community and university setting.

Dr. Tobon is a Psychologist at St. Michael’s Hospital’s Academic Family Health Team, where she serves children, adolescents and adults in a primary care setting.
